The Seminole Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. It quickly became the premier destination for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys. Today, the historic venue continues to serve the community by presenting a diverse range of live performances, including concerts, plays, and special events, and is proudly managed by OVG Facilities on behalf of the City of Homestead.
